Time How Important Is it?

Today was an interesting day. As I sat at a very, very boring In-service, a colleague of mine said something interesting. She said, “This workshop is so boring, and as a teacher who’s time is very valuable, I don’t appreciate them making me go to a boring workshop.” I then thought she is right. Time is so valuable and if you are a teacher you budget and plan every little detail in your life to make sure that you get everything done in one day, but I am finding out that sometimes you can’t do that. No matter how much you want to grade papers or go out with friends, sometimes, you really have to prioritize and put things in order of importance; that is what I am finding out. So many times I get upset with myself because I can’t seem to get everything done, and even though everything is at such high priority, I really have to understand that I can only get so much done a day. I think what I should do, is try to get most of the important stuff that I have to get done for me, should be done in the morning and everything else that is not that important should be done through out the school day. So I am going to try and grade papers while my students are independently working and I am going to try and write lesson plans, at that time as well. Everything else will get done during my planning period and before/afterschool, and what I don’t get done, I am not going to worry about it.

Very Bad!

This month I am really going to come back to my blog. So many things are happen and everything is going on so FAST!!!!!! Work has had me going, and I finally got a Photo Assistant who is AMAZING!!!!! He is really trying to make sure that we get better clients. I just had a bad thing to happen to me with my house, and I paid for a job that was suppose to happen but did not, so FRAUD was done, and now I have to go to Small Claims Court for that. So don’t feel like going. All and all I love my new place and I will post more stuff soon.

New Photo Shoots!!!!

Hey Everyone! Today I had a "AWESOME," Photo Shoot with a great couple!!!!!

Wow!

It has been such a long, long time! Here is an update:

Roommate: I finally moved out!!! That move took all summer, and I decided to live with the boyfriend. We have a beautiful condo together. Here is a picture of our first meal on our new table.
Work: It is what it is..I just went back to work, and it has been hard to stay focus, but I am doing it! I am really excited about working with my students this year!
Photography: It is getting really, really busy and I hope that I can make some extra money before the holidays!
Production: very slow. I feel a little tired lately.....Explanation coming!
Weight-loss: Very bad................Update coming soon

RIP Michael Jackson!

I can’t believe that it has been one year! Yesterday while I was home I got to watch the following, “The Wiz.” Wow I can’t believe how good it was. I remember the first time that I saw the film; I was so excited it was a special treat for me! My mother picked me up from school that day, and said, “ I have a special surprise for you,” Me being the strange little kid, I could not understand what it was because she picked my up before I got out of school, so I thought what is it, did someone die or was someone in the hospital?
Well after a quick lunch at Wendy’s she told me to close my eyes as she drove, then when the car stopped, we are at the movie theatre! And I looked up and on the billboard was the film, “THE WIZ,” was I happy. We went inside and saw the film; and throughout looking at the movie, we both laughed and cried at the end. What an GREAT “Mommy and Me” moment!

Hood College Reunion!!!!!

Wow! It has been a long time. Work has been so busy, but I just love summer break. I recently got back from my Vacation with Joshua. We went to my college reunion and had a blast! Here are some of my favorite photos from the weekend! It was so cool to spend time with some of my old friends and catch on what they have been doing. I am so proud of the people that I went to college with they are doing all types of unique and interesting things!!!!!
