My Review of the film Red Tails the Film

Red Tails,
At first I did not understand why everyone was talking about this film. Yes, it is important, but to make it seem like if people don’t support it, there would be no future for Black Cinema. I feel that is so hard fro anyone to get a film made in Hollywood black/white. In reference to the story, The Tuskegee Airmen were serious heroes, on a number of levels. They deserve a serious movie. "Red Tails" in some way was that movie. A lack of irony should be refreshing, even thrilling, but 'Red Tails' is very dull, in a way that has become a Lucas trademark. The Tuskegee Airmen deserve a more memorable and moving tribute than this. Red Tails seems interested in teaching viewers about Tuskegee Airmen, but as far as, that something is missing that makes the story/script come out very stale and dry.

Happy New Year!!!!

Why is it so hard for me to blog???????? I promise to get better so me and the BF new title, “Mr. FiancĂ©,” decided to take a trip to San Francisco over the break. During the trip we got to see so many new and exciting things. Some of the things include:
A special greeting with Chief Elizabeth Falkner – from Top Shelf!!!! She is the BOMB!!!!! And to top it off she gave us a free cake. We also went to Alcatraz at night, which was very scary!!!!!! I surprise the “Mr. FiancĂ©,” with a special Brian McKnight concert, and we also had the opportunity to spend the day at Napa Valley. What a great vacation….
