Spring Break Is Here!

Wow! It has been so hard to keep this blog up, but I am going to try again. Here are some updates:

Me and the other half are on our way to Florida to spend a few days at in South Beach. We are staying at The Standard Hotel, I hope that we enjoy it. I am very excited, because we both need this break; we also hope that we can get some wedding plans going. (The Standard Hotel's pool is the BOMB))) I will be posting photos from our trip. We also have decided to try the “17 Day Diet,” as a couple when we get back so I am excited about that….

The Fighter Is A Great Film!

An incredible story of triumph in and out of the boxing ring. Bale, looked the part and will probably get the Oscar nomination and Golden Globe win. I am always amaze at how Bale becomes that character in any film that he plays in. The Fighter takes a regular rags-to-riches story and delivers a a homerun hit!

The True Meaning of True Grit

True Grit, is a perfectly character-driven revenge film that definelty allows the actors to make the film. Watching a Coen Brothers film is usually an exercise in awesome and creative storytelling, and True Grit definitely doesn't break from the pattern. The production value is outstanding (especially costume design) True Grit is a must see, a significant installment in the Coen brothers' movie career and it is just a solid good movie.

If Hailee Steinfeld does not get the Oscar, Same on the Academy Committee!

Back From Sundance

Just got back from the film festival on Sunday. As soon as I get home I get the flu, so I have been out of commission. This week, I am going into pre-production on my short film, "Santa Monica 134." If you are interested in trying out please contact me at: ehark2000@yahoo.com. While at Sundance I was able to check out several decent films, and I have posted the information on my facebook. This week, I really need to watch what I eat and work on the wedding, which seems like it is right around the corner and I have not been doing anything. We do have a person who is doing a good job on designing our rings, so that part is done. While at Sundance I had the opportunity to also see "The Fighter," and "True Grit." See my reviews...

Sundance Here I Come!!!!!!

New Ring

So as I get prepared for my wedding, I decided to change my ring, because I want to take my mom's ring and create my own, and thanks to the most creative jeweler Heather Wang, I think it is going to happen. (Check out her work at: www.heatherwang.com).

Now I am trying to decide what stone I should use for the ring…Any suggestions????
